This is the second part of a tutorial showing how to make Event related wiki pages using Templates. The first part is here.

Let's begin your Step-by-Step Tutorial.


There are several ways to initiate the creation of a new wiki page.

  1. From the upper right menu on any page, select the Three Vertical Dots, then choose "Add new page".
  2. Type the name of the desired page in the appropriate part of the URL of your browser. If the page already exists, it will appear. If not, you will be prompted to create it.
  3. Follow the link from an existing page. The link will be red if the page does not exist.

Concerning the Curtain Border

Since the Curtain Border effect is contained entirely within the MediaWiki:Common.css file, there is no page to explain how to use it. I thought I'd attempt that here.

If your application of the Curtain Border does not need a title, and is simply an image, consider increasing the top margin of the image, (if possible), or padding the div with whitespace to force the image below the curtain. If you don't, you may as well just use the Simple Border instead of the Curtain Border.
