Buy Menu Icon
Summary[]
The Buy Menu icon can be found on the right hand side of the screen in Camp, below the Friends Menu icon. Upon tapping it, the Buy Menu will appear from below, pausing the game. There are 5 tabs: Kala's Daily Shop, Egg Shop, Treasure Shop, Build Shop, and Dragon Gems Store. Occasionally, an additional tab of Boutique Shop appears for a limited time.
When new items appear in the Shop its icon gets a "new" banner across it. The number shown in the red circle at the top right corner of the icon and tabs indicates the number of new arrivals. Opening the relevant tab will dismiss the indicator. The price of objects that you cannot afford will be marked in red. Objects that cost Dragon Gems will display a confirmation message when tapped, to prevent accidental purchases.
Kala's Shop Tab[]
Kala's Shop Tab was introduced in Version 2.2.0. Various objects will be offered on sale daily, with limited stock each. Kala's Mystery Item of the day, which the player can get for free, will be unlocked when all inventory available has been bought out. For Kala's daily trade, see Kala The Treasure Hunter.
Due to a bug, this tab didn't pause the game at first, unlike the other tabs. This has since been fixed in Version 2.3.0.

The order of items is constantly changed, with Eggs/Nests of the breeds associated with the most recent Event being moved to the front.
(Instead of the actual Egg Shop order, the table lists Coin Dragon Eggs first, then the Mystery Nests, then the rest of Eggs/Nests sorted alphabetically. You can also tap any column header to sort the table in a different way. Reloading the page will restore it to its original state.)

Build Shop Tab[]
Build Shop offers various Buildings: Magic Coin Storage, Stone Storage, Dragon Homes and Totems.
- To calculate the price for a level 1 Building, first convert all Buildings of that type (the Buildings finished building, not counting building Sites) into level 1, by merge 3 concept.
- For example if you have a level 5 Coin Vault and a level 3 Coin Vault and no other Coin Vaults, it counts as 3^4+3^2=90 level 1 Coin Vaults.
- For Dragon Homes, price is (5+2*equivalent number of level 1 Buildings) Stone.
- Some objects in the Buy Menu have a very high base cost, e.g. Pearlescent Chest and Nature Dragon Eggs. Thus, there is a need to build up your Magic Currency and Stone Bricks capacity by building a sufficient amount of storage Buildings. Article on Building in Large quantities should help you.

Boutique Shop[]
The Boutique Shop is a premium shop that appears in Camp from time to time. For 72 hours it offers three unique items that can be purchased with Dragon Gems. While the Boutique Shop is active an additional tab appears between the Build Shop and the Dragon Gems Store.

Dragon Gems Store[]
The Dragon Gems Store is where you spend money for more Dragon Gems. It can be accessed in 4 ways: from the Dragon Gems Raft floating beside the Camp in the World Map, from the Dragon Gems tab in the Buy Menu, tapping on your current Dragon Gems bar in the upper right corner of the game screen, and tapping on something that costs Dragon Gems when you don't have enough.
In Version 2.5.0 the Dragon Gem Packs got Bonus Objects on top of the Dragon Gems.
Sometime late 2018/early 2019 the number of Dragon Gems in the packs was lowered, but the Bonus Objects' numbers or quality were raised.
There are one-off "bonus" versions of the last 4 Gem Packs that have a higher number of Gems in them, but you can only buy them once and they disappear.

Old Icon
- Prior to Version 8.2.0 (22nd of March 2022) the Buy Menu had a different icon. The number shown in the red circle at the top right corner of the icon and tabs indicated how many types of objects you could buy, given your current stash of Magic Currency, Stone Bricks, and Dragon Gems. Objects that you couldn't afford were grayed out.
- Before Version 8.2.0 the Shop remembered your place in it until you left and re-entered the Camp. Nowadays it always opens at the Kala's Shop.
