General Tips for Out-of-Camp Events[]

The out-of-Camp Events usually follow a similar general pattern, although with different layouts and particular Cloud Keys each time. While this pattern is always subject to change, here is a general guide applicable to Events from early 2021 onward:

Completing the Event[]

Passive Play Guide[]

  • Heal land however you like until you reach the 500-barrier, then focus on creating 1-2 level 5 Twin Life Flowers and nothing lower than a level 4 Glowing Life Flower (trash any leftover level 2 or 3 Life Flowers). You should have at least 1 or 2 Young Fruit Trees by now too, so space those out somewhere away from the Flowers, and then let your Dragons auto-harvest Tiny Life Orbs while the Trees slowly spawn Life Flower Sprouts (and VERY rarely Fruit Tree Seeds) around themselves.
  • Always let the Seeds sprout on their own (don't merge), and as you gradually collect Fruit Tree Saplings, merge them in 5's and continue spacing the Young Fruit Trees out, ideally so that all 8 spaces around them are empty and also not overlapping the 8 spaces around another Tree.
  • Avoid merging the Fruit Trees to anything higher, since you only want them for the Life Flower Sprouts they produce and the more of them you have the better. Under no circumstances should you ever merge the Fruit Trees to a harvestable level (unless you've already claimed every prize the Event has to offer), or the Dragons will waste huge amounts of time flying back and forth to pick Fruit off them, then even more time harvesting THAT to produce low-level Coins, when all you really want them to focus on is Life Orbs.
  • Similarly, avoid creating any harvestable Unlimited Event Harvestables yet, or the Dragons will waste a LOT of time harvesting those instead of Life Flowers. In case you have just a single harvest-source, either from merging accidentally or healing the field, you can remove it from the Dragons' action-options by tapping it once and then keeping it selected whenever not doing anything else. Note that they'll still fly over to it, but they won't begin the long process of actually harvesting it as long as it's selected, and will eventually go do something else, so keep it somewhere close to the Flowers. You might even consider selling it off, since you will find more and better items deeper into the Event's map.
  • Now just check in occasionally (every 15-30 minutes) and mass-merge the Life Orbs (in 5s or multiples of 5 if you can quickly count them, otherwise just keep combining them all at once until there are few enough to count) as high as you can go before setting the game aside and waiting again, until you have at least 2 Life Orbs of Souls. At the same time, periodically merge the Life Flower Sprouts whenever all the Fruit Trees are surrounded by them, as long as you can get all the resulting Life Flowers up to at least level 4 Glowing Life Flower (at least 20 Sprouts to create one level 4, 33 - for two level 4s, or 50 to create 1 level 5 Twin Life Flower all in one go). If you can, then do that and sell off any remaining level 2 or 3 Flowers. Otherwise just move the Fruit Trees around to give them more empty space and continue accumulating Sprouts, until you can get up to a level 6 Brilliant Life Flower. You only need 1 for now, since two Dragons can work on it at once.
  • Remember to re-select the harvest-source (if you have one) each time after clearing the field so the Dragons won't waste time working on it.
  • When you're ready, set off both Life Orbs of Souls to heal almost all of the 500-squares and open a huge mass of Brambles and random items (and temporarily destroy your ability to autopilot Life Orb harvesting).
  • The Dragons will start harvesting the Brambles and flood the area with Bones and Sprouts, greatly reducing their focus on producing Life Orbs, so work on cleaning up the area and push for one level 8 Life Tree Sprout which will produce a level 3 Life Orb with each harvest (remember 2 Dragons can work on a level 8 Life Tree at the same time), then sell off all lower-level Flowers so the Dragons have no choice about what to harvest and compress your Tree farm to take up less space (don't combine the Young Fruit Trees though). Repeat the above autopilot technique with occasional Orb-merging check-ins until you have at least 3 Life Orbs of Heavens which should be enough to heal most of the map (make sure you have unlocked the Event Quest requiring you to create 3 of them before you actually create them, otherwise they won't count and you'll have to make even more!). You may actually want to hold out for 6 Heaven Orbs, which should be enough to clear the map completely, since once you set them off, the Orb-harvesting autopilot-system will be destroyed forever. You'll still be able to harvest Life Orbs, but there will be a bunch of Unlimited Event Harvestables now too and it will take much longer to auto-harvest Orbs than before.
  • Note that Dragons will on rare occasions harvest level 2 and level 3 Life Flowers from the Life Tree Sprout, which will start contaminating your harvest with Life Essence. Just sell or trash them when you notice it and merge or tap the hearts to clear them away again.
  • Finally, once the map is all healed, sell off the Life Tree Sprout and any other Life Flowers. Similar to the Life Orbs autopilot-harvesting, let the Dragons work on harvesting Event Point Items and merge them in 5's until you have 2 level 9 event items, which should be enough to claim all 10 of the Event Rewards at once. For most players, 2 level 9 items should be sufficient, but there's a small possibility you'll need 2 level 10s. Check the current event's wiki page to make sure it's enough.
  • The key is always to give the Dragons as little choice about where to work as possible, since they will always prioritize the least-productive or furthest-away option available. Try to merge the Unlimited Event Harvestables until they all produce level 3 Event Point Items when harvested, and remember to tap them every few minutes if you're playing actively to produce an extra item from each. Once you have a few additional Dragons working for you, you may even want to sell off the Rock Dragon you started with, since it is by far the slowest Harvester on your team but tends to be the first one to respond whenever you tap on a particular target.
