Summary[]
The Fairy Tale Event is the tenth recurring out-of-Camp Event introduced to the game. The unique Event Rewards such as the Morpho Dragons (the first five Events), the Jungle Dragons (the sixth occurrence only), the Fay Dragons (from the seventh occurrence onward), the Fairy Dragons and the Fairy Mushroom House Event Trophy are the main attraction.
For the duration of the Event, a new level becomes available. It can be accessed either from the Camp or from the Levels Map. The goal of said level is to collect enough Event Points by making Fairy Mushrooms to afford the 10 prizes offered (which, once achieved, are sent to the Camp in separate Loot Orbs with "Event Reward" text). The level can not be reset, although it requires no Chalices to begin or resume.
In order to participate, the players must have an active internet connection and 100 Dragon Power. Connectivity issues during the Event will result in prohibiting the ability to participate and freezing the progress in the level until connection is re-established.

Occurrences[]
First Occurrence[]
The first occurrence lasted 3 days, from the 15th to the 18th of June 2018, and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 35 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.
This Event introduced the Morpho Dragons, the Fairy Dragons and the Fairy Mushroom House Event Trophy.
Event Rewards[]
The Event offered 10 prizes, one for each tier of points accumulated. Every time sufficient points were accumulated, the counter was reset for the next goal. The points could be achieved by tapping the Fairy Mushrooms which could be found either by harvesting/tapping the Fairy Houses, harvesting the Mushroom Baskets, healing the Dead Land and opening the Fairy Tale Chests and the Secret Fairy Tale Capsules.

Secret Fairy Tale Capsules[]
Three types of Event Treasure Capsules were offered during the Fairy Tale Event. Though given level values and a match chain screen, they did not actually merge. A Bronze Treasure Capsule could be gained for free once every 3 hours. The shop could be accessed from the bottom right of the screen.
Two Silver and one Bronze Capsules could be found on the Event's map.

One-Time Offer[]
For the duration of the Event a one-time offer was available, which could be accessed from the middle right of the screen both in Camp and in Event. For 10$ (in the U.S., the price varied depending on the country of the user) you could get 60 Dragon Gems, Fairy Mushrooms worth 3,000 Event Points and 1,100 Magic Currency.
Trivia[]
- This is the first Event to introduce one of its Event-exclusive Dragons (a Fairy Dragon Whelp) within the Event itself, rather than two Crimson Dragon Whelps.
- The Event's main island had got stars pattern on it, and the two sub-islands were shaped like stars.
Second Occurrence[]
The second occurrence ran from the 12th to the 15th of October 2018 with a different name - Once Upon a Time Event, and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 35 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.
This Event was full of changes: it introduced the Event Quests, the Event Dimensional Jars and the 4th kind of Event Treasure Capsule.

Newly introduced in the second occurrence, 10 Quests were available during the Event (3 at a time). Upon completion each one granted an Event Quest Star which could be tapped for Life Orbs, Life Flower Sprouts, level 1 Fairy Tale Chests, Fairy Mushrooms and Mushroom Baskets.
The Quests were divided in 3 groups - top star, middle star and bottom star. Once a Quest was completed, you could tap the "Next Quest" button in order to see the next Quest in line.

Third Occurrence[]
The third occurrence ran from the 26th to the 29th of April 2019 with a different name - Shrooms & Fairies Event, and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 35 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.
The Fairy Mushroom House Event Trophy awarded in this Event was recolored to distinguish it from the level 3 Fairy House Deluxe.

The Event offered 10 prizes, one for each tier of points accumulated. Every time sufficient points were accumulated, the counter was reset for the next goal. The points could be achieved by tapping the Fairy Mushrooms which could be found either by harvesting/tapping the Fairy Houses, harvesting the Mushroom Baskets, healing the Dead Land, unlocking the Cloud Keys, opening the Fairy Tale Chests and the Secret Shrooms & Fairies Capsules and tapping the Event Quest Stars.
Unlike the usual Event Rewards patterns, the last two Rewards were level 3 Moon Dragon and level 4 Bunny Dragon (the same as the preceding Easter Event) instead of level 3 Bunny Dragon and level 4 Morpho Dragon respectively. Support denied this being a mistake.

The points could be achieved by tapping the Fairy Mushrooms which could be found either by harvesting/tapping the Fairy Houses, harvesting the Mushroom Baskets, healing the Dead Land, unlocking the Cloud Keys, opening the Fairy Tale Chests and the Secret Bloom Shrooms Capsules and tapping the Event Quest Stars.
Unlike the usual Event Rewards patterns, the Event Trophy was changed from the Fairy Mushroom House to the Pomegranate.

The fifth occurrence ran from the 28th to the 31st of August 2020 with a different name - Shrooms & Fairies Event, and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 35 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.

The Event offered 10 prizes, one for each tier of points accumulated. Every time sufficient points were accumulated, the counter was reset for the next goal. The points could be achieved by tapping the Fairy Mushrooms which could be found either by harvesting/tapping the Fairy Houses, harvesting the Mushroom Baskets, healing the Dead Land, unlocking the Cloud Keys, opening the Fairy Tale Chests and the Secret Shrooms & Fairies Capsules and tapping the Event Quest Stars.
Unlike the usual patterns, the Event offered the Zephyr Dragons as the secondary Dragon breed instead of the Anubis Dragons.

For 10$ (in the U.S., the price varied depending on the country of the user) you could get a level 3 Fairy Dragon, a Nest of Turtle Dragon Eggs and two Epic Fairy Chests.
Ninth Occurrence[]
The ninth occurrence ran from the 14th to the 17th of January 2022 with a different name - Once Upon a Time Event, and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 450 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.
Event Rewards[]
The Event offered 10 prizes, one for each tier of points accumulated. Every time sufficient points were accumulated, the counter was reset for the next goal. The points could be achieved by tapping the Fairy Mushrooms which could be found either by harvesting/tapping the Fairy Houses, harvesting the Mushroom Baskets, healing the Dead Land, unlocking the Cloud Keys, opening the Fairy Tale Chests and the Secret Once Upon a Time Capsules and tapping the Event Quest Stars.
Unlike the usual patterns, the Event rewarded the Samba Dragons as the secondary Dragon breed, like the previous Shrooms & Fairies Event, instead of the Dessert Dragons.

* Starting from the Sakura Dream Event (October 2021) for the most players the required points for the last 4 rewards and the values of Event Point Items were reverted to their original state before the change in December 2020, so the 29,950 point total was roughly equivalent to one level 9 and two level 8 Fairy Mushrooms. Support couldn't give any definitive answer whether we could expect the same from the future Events.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have access to the Event Portal Upgrade you may receive a different set of Rewards depending on your test version and Portal's level. Please be aware that this feature is still in its Beta testing phase and not available to everyone.

Secret Once Upon a Time Capsules[]
Four types of Event Treasure Capsules were offered during the Event. A Bronze Treasure Capsule could be gained for free once every 3 hours. The shop could be accessed from the bottom right of the screen and unlocked when you had at least 55 land healed in the Event level.

A special shop was available during the Event, and all items could be bought with Gems. The shop could be accessed from the bottom right of the screen, under the Secret Once Upon a Time Capsules shop, and unlocked when you had at least 65 land healed in the Event level.

One-Time Offer[]
For the duration of the Event a one-time offer was available, which could be accessed from the middle right of the screen both in Camp and in Event. For 10$ (in the U.S., the price varied depending on the country of the user) you could get a Nest of Nilla Dragon Eggs, a level 3 Fairy Dragon and two Epic Fairy Chests.

Unique Behaviors[]
Similarly to previous Events identical nerfs have been made in order to make the level harder:
- Golden Apples Nerf - Golden Apples don't create any Dragon Chests. In addition, the merging barely gives advanced tiers, and the rewards are Life Flowers, Bronze, and Gold Magic Coins.
- Overall Dragon Chests Nerf - as with the Golden Apples, not even a single Merge Chain will grant Dragon Chests. The only way to get more Dragons is to make Wonders.
- Treasure Chests Nerf - like the two above, removed the drops of Dragon Eggs from Treasure Chests.
