Friend Gifts are a social feature introduced in Version 3.14.1 (28th of November 2018) together with the Friends feature. You can send 5 Friend Gifts once every 23 hours.
When the Gift counter resets, the Gifts can be sent to the same Friends again.
You can have only 20 Gifts in the inbox (the Messages tab) at the same time. Friends who have their inbox full can't receive any new Gifts. If the tab's indicator shows the number greater than 20, it means all additional messages are Friend Requests.
