Friends are a social feature introduced in Version 3.14.1 (28th of November 2018) together with the Friend Gifts feature. It requires an active internet connection and unlocks when you have at least 7 Dragon Power.
Once unlocked, you'll get prompted to create a profile by naming your Camp and selecting an avatar. After that the Friends Menu becomes available.
Friends Menu[]
Friends Menu Icon
The Friends Menu icon can be found at the bottom right of the game screen, between the Dragon Book icon and Buy Menu icon. The menu consists of three tabs: Friends, Messages and Add Friends.
Friends Tab[]
The Friends tab shows the button to access Friends' editing menu, the total number of Friends and Gift counter at the top and the bar to gain Friend Dragon Eggs by inviting new players to the game at the bottom. Between, lies the list of all accounts you've befriended, with your own account at the top. Your Friends list is sorted in descending order by amount of Dragon Power and includes Kala's official account.
For every Friend you can see their Dragon Power, total Camp Quests' Stars and buttons to send a Friend Gift (except Kala) and visit the Friend's Camp.
To add new Friends you must know their 10 letters Friend Tag. You can see your own Tag in the Add Friends tab.
Friend Gifts and removing Friends[]
You can send 5 Friend Gifts once every 23 hours. When the Gift counter resets, the Gifts can be sent to the same Friends again.
Since only 20 Gifts can be in the inbox (the Messages tab) at the same time, Friends who have their inbox full can't receive any new Gifts. Inactive Friends can be removed from the Friends list by clicking their username, blocking them, and then going to the Friends' editing menu and unblocking them again. That way they can re-friend your account when they become active again.
Messages Tab[]
The Messages tab displays all Friend Gifts and Friend Requests sent to you. When there're new messages available, the red indicator with the number will show up both on the Friends Menu icon and the Messages tab.
Only 20 Gift messages can be in the inbox at the same time. If the tab's indicator shows the number greater than 20, it means all additional messages are Friend Requests.
Add Friends Tab[]
To add new Friends you must go to the last tab. There you can either add the suggested accounts or look up other players by their Friend Tag. The tab also displays your own Tag at the bottom of the window.
If you're a part of a Den you can click any Den's member username and then select "Add as Friend".
Trivia[]
- The Kala's account displayed in your Friends list shows that Kala has 500 Camp Quests' Stars, although only 390 Stars can be achieved currently.
