Summary[]

Magic Coin Storage are buildings that increase the maximum amount of Magic Coins you can hold at a time.

Level 1 Tattered Coin Vault can be bought with Coins, and level 2 Basic Coin Vault can be bought with Stone Bricks in the Buy Menu. The cost of Coin Vaults is determined by the number and levels of all Coin Vaults you have currently built in your Camp. For more thorough explanation see below.

Coin Vaults can be tapped for Magic Coins after certain time spent in the camp. Unlike Stone Storage, a Coin will be visible on the side of the building when it is ready to be collected.

Level Size Rarity Name Description Tap Rewards Cooldown Worth (Coins)
1 1x1 Common Tattered Coin Vault +5 Coin Storage! Tiny Magic Coin 20 m 4
2 1x1 Common Basic Coin Vault +20 Coin Storage! 14 m 10

Cost[]

See also Minimizing building costs tutorial.

The cost of Coin Storage in the Buy Menu is determined by the number and levels of Coin Vaults you have in your Camp. This does not include any Coin Vaults that are bubbled or not yet built.

The additional cost increases exponentially the higher the Coin Vault level, but less so than the Coin Storage capacity. Because of that it is much more beneficial to build higher level Vaults from scratch by bubbling all existing Vaults (and selling those you can't bubble) and using Stone Bricks to purchase level 2 Basic Coin Vaults.

The table below shows how much 1 Coin Vault of a certain level increases the cost of level 1 and level 2 Vaults, and the amount of Stone Bricks and tiles in your Camp needed to build any Coin Vault from scratch.

Level Name Additional Cost Of Level 1 Vault (Magic Coins) Additional Cost Of Level 2 Vault (Stone Bricks) Cost In Stone Bricks If Built From Scratch (Space Needed * Base Cost)
Base Cost 5 40
1 Tattered Coin Vault +1 +4 n/a
2 Basic Coin Vault +3 +12 40 each
3 Nice Coin Vault +9 +36 2 for 200 (5 * 40)

1 for 120 (3 * 40)

4 Great Coin Vault +27 +108 2 for 520 (13 * 40)

1 for 320 (8 * 40)

5 Opulent Coin Vault +81 +324 2 for 1,320 (33 * 40)

1 for 800 (20 * 40)

6 Mythical Coin Vault +243 +972 2 for 3,320 (83 * 40)

1 for 2,000 (50 * 40)

7 Gigantic Coin Vault +729 +2,916 2 for 8,320 (208 * 40)

1 for 5,000 (125 * 40)

8 Bottomless Coin Vault +2,187 +8,748 Best built from level 7 Vaults that are bubbled.

For example, if you have 4 level 4 Vaults and 1 level 1 Vault, the cost for a level 1 Vault would be 114 Magic Coins (5 + 1 * 1 + 4 * 27), and the cost for a level 2 Vault would be 476 Stone Bricks (40 + 1 * 4 + 4 * 108).

Coin Output[]

Without Midas Trees, Fruit Trees, Dimensional Jars, or other easy farming methods, new players can use Magic Coin Storage buildings as a source of Coins (albeit at rather abysmal rates).

The following table shows the raw coin output, output if 5-merged once, and output if 5-merged to completion (Magic Gem of Life) per minute, assuming max-efficiency collection. As with all other items in the game, it is recommended to 5-merge the coins before collecting, as this leads to a much higher output.

Level Name Raw Output 5-Merged Once 5-Merged All the Way
1 Tattered Coin Vault 0.05/min 0.08/min 0.82/min
2 Basic Coin Vault 0.07/min 0.11/min 1.17/min
3 Nice Coin Vault 0.22/min 0.33/min 2.24/min
4 Great Coin Vault 0.33/min 0.50/min 3.42/min
5 Opulent Coin Vault 0.48/min 0.72/min 4.92/min
6 Mythical Coin Vault 0.90/min 1.20/min 6.14/min
7 Gigantic Coin Vault 1.50/min 2.00/min 10.24/min
8 Bottomless Coin Vault 2.50/min 3.50/min 12.80/min

The cost of new Magic Coin Storage buildings increases as more are built, which decreases the cost-efficiency of this farming method even further. However, there are ways to avoid increasing costs as detailed in this guide.

Trivia[]

  • You used to be able to buy a level 3 Nice Coin Vault by using Stone Bricks, but in Version 1.12.0 the option was removed from the Buy Menu.
  • You always have enough capacity to buy another level 1 Tattered Coin Vault.
  • Because of the math, the cost of a level 2 Basic Coin Vault is always 4 times the cost of a level 1 Vault plus 20 (albeit in different currency).
  • The purchase cost does not increase until at least one of the purchased buildings was fully built.
