Summary[]
Stone Yards are buildings that increase the maximum amount of Stone Bricks you can hold at a time.
Level 1 Tattered Stone Yard and level 2 Basic Stone Yard can be bought with Stone Bricks in the Buy Menu. The cost of Stone Yards is determined by the number and levels of all Stone Yards you have currently built in your Camp. For more thorough explanation see below.
Stone Yards can be tapped for Stone Bricks after certain time spent in the camp. Unlike Coin Storage, no indicator appears on the building's sprite when the Stone Yard is recharged and ready to be tapped.
Level | Size | Rarity | Name | Description | Tap Rewards | Cooldown | Worth (Coins) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 1x1 | Common | Tattered Stone Yard | +5 Stone Storage! | Stone Brick x2 | 20 m | 4 |

Cost[]
See also Minimizing building costs tutorial.
The cost of Stone Storage in the Buy Menu is determined by the number and levels of Stone Yards you have in your Camp. This does not include any Stone Yards that are bubbled or not yet built.
The additional cost increases exponentially the higher the Stone Yard level, but less so than the Stone Storage capacity. Because of that it is much more beneficial to build higher level Yards from scratch by bubbling all existing Yards (and selling those you can't bubble) and purchasing either level 1 Tattered Stone Yards or level 2 Basic Stone Yards.
Using level 2 Yards consumes less space and Stamina, but since you can't build a level 2 Yard with base Stone Storage, the minimal cost of building a level 2 Yard is 240 Stone Bricks with two level 3 Yards built. This makes using level 2 Yards cost almost 20 times more Stone compared to level 1 Yards, while only using half as much space. So unless you're extremely space or Stamina limited, using level 1 Yards is recommended.
The table below shows how much 1 Stone Yard of a certain level increases the cost of level 1 and level 2 Yards, and the amount of Stone Bricks and tiles in your Camp needed to build any Stone Yard from scratch.
Level | Name | Additional Cost Of Level 1 Yard | Additional Cost Of Level 2 Yard | Building From Scratch (Space Needed * Min Cost) | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Cost Using Level 1 Yards | Cost Using Level 2 Yards (With 2 Level 3 Yards Built) | ||||
Base Cost | 5 | 150 | |||
1 | Tattered Stone Yard | +1 | +5 | 5 each | n/a |
2 | Basic Stone Yard | +3 | +15 | 2 for 25 (5 * 5)
1 for 15 (3 * 5) |
240 each |
3 | Nice Stone Yard | +9 | +45 | 2 for 65 (13 * 5)
1 for 40 (8 * 5) |
2 for 1,200 (5 * 240)
1 for 720 (3 * 240) |
4 | Great Stone Yard | +27 | +135 | 2 for 165 (33 * 5)
1 for 100 (20 * 5) |
2 for 3,120 (13 * 240)
1 for 1,920 (8 * 240) |
5 | Opulent Stone Yard | +81 | +405 | 2 for 415 (83 * 5)
1 for 250 (50 * 5) |
2 for 7,920 (33 * 240)
1 for 4,800 (20 * 240) |
6 | Mythical Stone Yard | +243 | +1,215 | 2 for 1,040 (208 * 5)
1 for 625 (125 * 5) |
2 for 19,920 (83 * 240)
1 for 12,000 (50 * 240) |
7 | Gigantic Stone Yard | +729 | +3,645 | 2 for 2,600 (520 * 5)
1 for 1,565 (313 * 5) |
2 for 49,920 (208 * 240)
1 for 30,000 (125 * 240) |
8 | Bottomless Stone Yard | +2,187 | +10,935 | Best built from level 7 Yards that are bubbled. |
For example, if you have 4 level 4 Yards and 1 level 1 Yard, the cost for a level 1 Yard would be 114 Stone Bricks (5 + 1 * 1 + 4 * 27), and the cost for a level 2 Yard would be 695 Stone Bricks (150 + 1 * 5 + 4 * 135).
Stone Output[]
Without Stonehenge or an adequate supply of Living Stones, new players can use Stone Storage buildings as a source of Stone Bricks (albeit very slow).
The following table shows the raw and 5-merge stone output per minute, assuming max-efficiency collection. As with all the other items in game, it is recommended to 5-merge the stone before collecting, as this leads to a much higher output.
Level | Name | Raw Output | 5-Merge Once | 5-Merge All the way |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Tattered Stone Yard | 0.10/min | 0.20/min | 1.64/min |
2 | Basic Stone Yard | 0.14/min | 0.29/min | 2.34/min |
3 | Nice Stone Yard | 0.19/min | 0.30/min | 1.54/min |
4 | Great Stone Yard | 0.27/min | 0.44/min | 2.23/min |
5 | Opulent Stone Yard | 0.40/min | 0.64/min | 3.28/min |
6 | Mythical Stone Yard | 1.20/min | 1.80/min | 6.14/min |
7 | Gigantic Stone Yard | 2.00/min | 3.00/min | 10.24/min |
8 | Bottomless Stone Yard | 3.75/min | 5.00/min | 12.80/min |
The cost of new Stone Storage buildings increases as more are built, which decreases the cost-efficiency of this farming method even further. However, there are ways to avoid increasing costs as detailed in this guide.
Trivia[]
- You used to be able to buy a level 3 Nice Stone Yard by using Stone Bricks, but in Version 1.12.0 the option was removed from the Buy Menu.
- You always have enough capacity to buy another level 1 Tattered Stone Yard, but not necessarily a level 2 Basic Stone Yard.
- Because of the math, the cost of a level 2 Yard is always 5 times the cost of a level 1 Yard plus 125.
- The purchase cost does not increase until at least one of the purchased buildings was fully built.
