Cost[edit | edit source]
See also Minimizing building costs.
The cost of stone yard in the buy menu is determined by the number and level of stone yards you have in your camp. This does not include any yards that are bubbled. The additional cost increases exponentially the higher the stone yard level, but less so than the stone storage capacity. Since the cost increases exponentially, it is much more beneficial to build higher level stone yards from scratch by first destroying all but two level 3 stone yards and using stone bricks to purchase level 2 yards. Truth be told this is a tedious process, as the storage capacity has to be kept at 250, so one needs to use leftover stones for each build while avoiding any yard to be completed by dragons. This feat can be done by destroying all but a single level 1 dragon home, pre-tiring all dragons so they are all in the home and allowing for the 20 minutes that this process usually takes.

|8||Bottomless Stone Yard||2187||10935||best built from level 7 yards that are bubbled|
For example if you have 4 level 4 yards and 1 level 1 yard, the cost of an additional level 1 yard is 114 stone bricks (5 + 1 * 1 + 4 * 27), and the cost of an additional level 2 yard is 695 stone bricks (150 + 1 * 5 + 4 * 135).
The minimal cost of building a level 2 yard while having enough stone storage capacity is 240.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- You always have enough capacity to buy another level 1 yard, but not necessarily a level 2 yard.
- Because of the math, the cost of a level 2 yard is always 5 times the cost of a level 1 yard plus 125.
