Summary[]
The Thanksgiving Event is the third recurring out-of-Camp Event introduced to the game. The unique Event Rewards such as the Wood Dragons, the Autumn Dragons (3rd - 4th occurrences), the Chocolate Dragons (from 5th occurrence onward) and the Pomegranate Event Trophy (from 2nd occurrence onward) are the main attraction.
For the duration of the Event, a new level becomes available. It can be accessed either from the Camp or from the Levels Map. The goal of said level is to collect enough Event Points by making Autumn Fruits to afford the 10 prizes offered (which, once achieved, are sent to the Camp in separate Loot Orbs with "Event Reward" text). The level can not be reset, although it requires no Chalices to begin or resume.
In order to participate, the players must have an active internet connection and 100 Dragon Power. Connectivity issues during the Event will result in prohibiting the ability to participate and freezing the progress in the level until connection is re-established.

First Occurrence[]
The first occurrence was one of the few Events that ran for 5 days, from the 23rd to the 28th of November 2017. It was available for both iOS and Android, and no minimum Dragon Power was required in order to participate in it.
This Event introduced the Wood Dragons.

Event Rewards[]
The Event offered 10 prizes, one for each tier of points accumulated. Every time sufficient points were accumulated, the counter was reset for the next goal. The points could be achieved by tapping the Thanksgiving Fruits which could be found either by harvesting/tapping the Thanksgiving Trees, harvesting the Gingermen, healing the Dead Land and opening the Autumn Chests and the Secret Thanksgiving Capsules.

Secret Thanksgiving Capsules[]
Three types of Event Treasure Capsules were offered during the Event. Though given level values and a Merge Chain screen, they did not actually merge. A Bronze Treasure Capsule could be gained for free once every 3 hours. The shop could be accessed from the bottom right of the screen in the level.
Two Silver Capsules could be found on the Event's map.

One-Time Offer[]
For the duration of the Event a one-time offer was available, which could be accessed from the middle right of the screen both in Camp and in Event. For 10$ (in the U.S., the price varied depending on the country of the user) you could get 60 Dragon Gems, Thanksgiving Fruits worth 3,000 Event Points and 1,100 Magic Currency.

Once again, yet another Event! However a bit different from the other two - we start with Hills now. Very symbolic as in thanksgiving day you give your gratitude to the earth and what grows from it. So... without further ado, let's continue to the guide!
Principal Rules: Merge 5 when possible, Don't merge level 3 Thanksgiving Trees any further! Don't merge Young Fruit Trees any further! You'll need them to create Life Flower Sprouts. Don't merge Plains Grass, use them for merging off the Dead Land for tiles requiring 50, 500 and 5,000 Healing Power.
1. Start by tapping the 3 Oak Nuts, otherwise the arrow above them won't disappear. Merge the Life Flower Sprout with the 2 others on the Dead Land. Merge the Ruby Plains Grass with the 2 others on the Dead Land too. Merge the Crimson Dragon Egg with the 2 others on the Dead Land and you're good to go. Harvest the Life Flower for Life Essence and gradually heal the land. Every Plains Grass should be dragged to the edge of the map. Use it only for healing tiles of 50 health or more.
2. Meanwhile, take a 4x4 area and place Fruit Trees as shown in the picture below. This formation will generate Life Flower Sprouts over time, check from time to time and drag out the Sprouts to allow new ones to spawn.

3. You should aim for the Hills and the Drake's Ridges. Once 2 Elwind's Knolls are made, we can continue. Harvest the Hills non-stop for Topsoil and Emerald Plains Grass. Harvest the Topsoil for Hills and other goods. Merge the Emerald Plains Grass on the go in order to create more Life Flowers.
Aim for the Hills.
4. You have two options now - continue to create Hills until a Cloudy Summit will be created as a by-product or skip to the step 12 (doing the next steps will allow you to have more than 2 Dragons). If you do skip, keep farming the Hills until you have 2 Giant Life Flowers.
5. Continue to farm the Hills in order to get a Cloudy Summit. There is a chance to get it every time you merge a Hill of level 4 (Garden Summit) or above, better chances the higher the Hill's level. I got 2: once by merging 5 Garden Summits and once by merging 5 Moon's Precipices.
Harvest Hills until you get a Cloudy Summit by merging high Hills tiers.
6. Once you got a Cloudy Summit, tap it for Clouds and tap them in order to make it rain. Merge the Rain Puddles into Fledgling Puddles, then merge those into Puddles and merge those into Water. Merge the Life Flower Sprouts that spawn along with the Rain Puddles and don't forget to check your Life Flower farm.
Tap the Cloudy Summit for Clouds to make it rain. Merge the Rain Puddles and the Life Flower Sprouts too.
7. Continue to harvest the Cloudy Summit and make lot of Water, and make sure each Water has at least 1 space free adjacent to it - it would allow Grass Tufts to spawn.

8. After about 15 Grass Tufts have been spawned, wait for them to turn into Necromancer Grass. Harvest it for the Seeds of the Prism Flower. If you don't want to wait, merge 5 to create Sprouting Prism Flowers. Merge 5 Sprouting Prism Flowers for 2 Prism Flower Buds.
Wait until the Grass Tuft turns into Necromancer Grass. Harvest it for the Seeds of the Prism Flower, and merge those into Prism Flower Buds. Harvest them for Dragon Tree Leaves.
9. Harvest the 2 Prism Flower Buds for Dragon Tree Leaves. Merge the Leaves into Dragon Tree Saplings and merge those into Sprouting Dragon Trees, and merge those into Young Dragon Trees. Once you got 3 of the latter, merge them into a Vermillion Dragon Tree.
10. Harvest the Vermillion Dragon Tree for Elderwood. Use the other Dragon to farm for Life Orbs. By this point you should already have 2 Giant Life Flowers and a couple of Twin and Brilliant Life Flowers. Merge the Elderwood in groups of 5 until you reach the Tiny Cabin for Hedge Gnomes.
Merge Dragon Tree Leaves up until you get a Vermillion Dragon Tree. Harvest it for Elderwood, and merge it into Cabins, Tap the cabins for Bushes. Merge the Bushes into 2 Ruins of the Sky Palace.
11. Tap the Cabin for Shrub Sprouts and make space around it so it can spawn more before disappearing. Merge the Bushes in groups of 5 until you reach 2 Ruins of the Sky Palace. Tap them for Eggs and Nests. Keep in mind you have 2 Tanzanite Eggs on the map that you can merge with the ones you get from the Ruins. You should have about 8-12 Dragons in total.
12. Harvest your Life Flowers non-stop until all the map is full, merge them all, rinse and repeat until you have 3 level 9 Life Orbs. Can be a little less if you used some beforehand or merge-healed some land in between. This amount should be enough to heal the whole map in one go.

13. Cleaning time! Harvest all the Brambles (or drag them all to one of the "branches" of the map if you don't want to harvest them and have more space for later), merge all the Bones and the Life Flowers, harvest all the Skulls and drag anything that is not Event-related to a corner (or a "branch"). You should be left with what you can see in the picture below.

14. Tap all the Gingermen Chests. Merge all the Autumn Chests in groups of 5. Harvest all the Gingermen and merge the Thanksgiving Fruits. By this point you should have 2 level 8 and 1 level 7 Thanksgiving Fruits and some extra lower levels. You should also have 2 level 5, 1 level 4, 1 level 3 and 7 level 2 Thanksgiving Trees.
What should be left after harvesting all the map. Drag all the Thanksgiving Trees to the edge of the map.
15. If you have only 2 Dragons, merge 5 level 2 Trees into 2 level 3, and merge them with the other one, so you would have 2 level 4 Thanksgiving Trees to harvest from, as they are much faster in comparison to level 5 one, even though it gives the next level of Thanksgiving Fruits. If you have less than 9 Dragons, merge 5 of the level 2 Trees into 2 level 3 and you're good to go. If you have more than 9, no further arrangements should be done.
Harvest the Thanksgiving Trees for additional Thanksgiving Fruits.
Second Occurrence[]
The second occurrence ran from the 9th to the 12th of November 2018 with a different name - Fall Event, and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 35 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.
This Event introduced a new Pomegranate Event Trophy.

For the duration of the Event 10 Quests were available (3 at a time). Upon completion each one granted an Event Quest Star which could be tapped for Life Orbs, Life Flower Sprouts, level 1 Autumn Chests, Thanksgiving Fruits and Gingermen.
The Quests were divided in 3 groups - top star, middle star and bottom star. Once a Quest was completed, you could tap the "Next Quest" button in order to see the next Quest in line.

Third Occurrence[]

This Event saw some significant changes:
- With the introduction of the Autumn Dragons, the Pomegranate Event Trophy now spawns 4 Autumn Dragon Eggs instead of Wood Dragon Eggs.
- The Autumn Hide-outs replaced the Thanksgiving Trees as Unlimited Event Harvestables.
- The Maple Trees replaced the Gingermen as Limited Event Harvestables.
- And finally, the Event Quests rewards got downgraded from a level 2 Ancient Spring, a Nest of Hatched Owlet Griffons and a level 4 Midas Tree to a level 2 Ancient Spring, a Nest of Owlet Griffon Eggs and a level 3 Golden Tree respectively.

Fifth Occurrence[]
The fifth occurrence ran from the 26th to the 29th of November 2021 and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 450 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.
Starting from this Event, the Pomegranate Event Trophy gives 4 Bon Bon Dragon Eggs instead of Autumn Dragon Eggs when first placed in Camp.

The Event offered 10 prizes, one for each tier of points accumulated. Every time sufficient points were accumulated, the counter was reset for the next goal. The points could be achieved by tapping the Autumn Fruits which could be found either by harvesting/tapping the Autumn Hide-outs, harvesting the Maple Trees, healing the Dead Land, unlocking the Cloud Keys, opening the Autumn Chests and the Secret Thanksgiving Capsules and tapping the Event Quest Stars.

Sixth Occurrence[]
The sixth occurrence was the first Thanksgiving Event to run in spring instead of autumn, from the 29th of April to the 2nd of May 2022 with a different name - Sugar Pines Event, for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 100 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.
This Event introduced the Bird Dragons and offered items from the new Honey Merge Chain.

The Event offered 10 prizes, one for each tier of points accumulated. Every time sufficient points were accumulated, the counter was reset for the next goal. Eighth Occurrence[]
The eighth occurrence ran from the 25th to the 28th of November 2022 and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 100 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.
Event Rewards[]
The Event offered 10 prizes, one for each tier of points accumulated. Every time sufficient points were accumulated, the counter was reset for the next goal. The points could be achieved by tapping the Autumn Fruits which could be found either by harvesting/tapping the Autumn Hide-outs, harvesting the Maple Trees, healing the Dead Land, unlocking the Cloud Keys, opening the Autumn Chests and the Secret Thanksgiving Capsules and tapping the Event Quest Stars.
Unlike the usual patterns, instead of the Wood Dragons and the Zeus Dragons the Event rewarded new Turkey and Corny Dragon breeds.
The point requirements for 10 Rewards were as follows:

IMPORTANT NOTE: In Version 8.5.0 (13th of May 2022) a new Beta feature called Arcadia had a limited release in the game. If you're a part of this Beta test you'll receive level 1-4 Arcane Chests as your 2nd Reward instead of level 2-4 Dragon Trees.
Event Quests[]
For the duration of the Event 10 Quests were available (3 at a time). Upon completion each one granted an Event Quest Star which could be tapped for Life Orbs, Life Flower Sprouts, level 1 Autumn Chests, Autumn Fruits and Maple Trees.
The Quests were divided in 3 groups - top star, middle star and bottom star. Once a Quest was completed, you could tap the "Next Quest" button in order to see the next Quest in line.

Ninth Occurrence[]
The ninth occurrence ran from the 7th to the 10th of July 2023 with a different name - Sugar Pines Event, and was available for both iOS and Android. A minimum of 100 Dragon Power was required in order to participate in the Event.

Unique Behaviors[]
Similarly to previous Events identical nerfs have been made in order to make the level harder:
- Golden Apples Nerf - Golden Apples don't create any Dragon Chests. In addition, the merging barely gives advanced tiers, and the rewards are Life Flowers, Bronze and Gold Magic Coins.
- Overall Dragon Chests Nerf - as with the Golden Apples, not even a single Merge Chain will grant Dragon Chests. The only way to get more Dragons is to make Wonders.
- Treasure Chests Nerf - like the two above, removed the drops of Dragon Eggs from Treasure Chests.
