Summary[]
Zen Temples are a rare Merge Chain introduced in Version 3.1.0. They are the only source of the Zen Dragons.
It‘s the first Merge Chain where items are upgraded to the next level with Gems instead of merging. The only exception is a Shangri-La: merge 3 or 5 of it to create the Wonder of the Zen Temples.
After a Shangri-La is created, you can tap it and get a Small Zen Temple.
After a Shambala is created, you can tap it and get one more Small Zen Temple. You can also tap for all 5 of the "Upgrade Rewards" (sans the Small Zen Temple) every 10 hours spent in Camp.
How to Gain[]
- Buy a Small Zen Temple from Buy Menu only once for 250 Coins after accumulating at least 50 Stars.
- Find a Small Zen Temple under Evil Fog plots cleared by 11 and 201 Dragon Power.
- Buy Small Zen Temples from Kala's Shop for 30 Dragon Gems.
- Tap a Shangri-La once for a Small Zen Temple.
- Tap a Shambala once for a Small Zen Temple.
- Receive a Nice Zen Temple as Event Reward from Camp & Chill Events.

Trivia[]
- Some of Zen Temples (levels 1, 2, 6, 9, 11 and 12) derived their graphics from the Japanese Shrines.
- The total cost from level 1 to 12 is 1,085 Gems. For the Wonder you'll need either 3 Shangri-La with a total cost of 3,255 Gems, or 5 Shangri-La with a cost of 5,425 Gems.
- Zen Temples are a Merge Chain that endlessly reproduces itself. Since you receive level 1 Small Zen Temple every time level 12 Shangri-La is created, you don't need to buy additional Temples to create the Wonder.
Tips & Tricks[]
- Much like the Haunted Houses, leaving and re-entering the Camp will reset the timer and allow the Temples to be harvested again immediately.
- Mystical Dragon Eggs are spawned around the Temples. If nothing shows up, move the Temple to areas with empty spots.
